Bathroom Cleaning

So, I’m not the only one.

Lindsay had an extremely awkward conversation with her neighbor. Apparently, the fogged windows in her bathroom--which she relied on to keep privacy in their bathroom by blurring light passing through them--actually worked the other way; it blurred light coming into the room.

And her neighbor noticed.

He husband went to stand in the bathroom shower (clothed) while Lindsay walked outside to look in, and sure enough he was crystal clear, but only from about the waist up, which is only somewhat bad. From her husband's view, she was just a smudge

With this glass, objects are more visible when they are close to it, but blurrier the further away they are. This is kind of like looking at a computer image zoomed in, you typically see something blurry or pixilated, but you can’t quite tell what it is. When you zoom out, however, the fuzzy image takes on a more intelligible form, even if you could always see all of the pixels in the scene.

They have lived near their neighbor for a while and had that glass for eight months! Why the sudden announcement? Were the neighbors just now noticing the view, or did something else spur this conversation into existence?

As Lindsay and her husband pondered on the situation, her husband realized something. The previous night, after bathing, he had decided to clean the shower, which meant climbing up onto a bench in the stall, where he could reach the ceiling, with some stretching, and jumping, and squirming around.

Nude.

Naturally, Lindsay shares her story with KSL. And then similar stories start to flood in (although Lindsay’s original is far more entertaining than these stories).

And finally, her neighbor saw the KSL article, and told her coworkers that she is the one who saw the incident!

To avoid the pixilation effects, my wife and I are definitely going to get rain glass.
